In accordance with
the United States Flag Code, “The
Flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting
emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way”.
Brandywine Flags understands
the tradition of the U.S. Flag and the respect it deserves. We encourage
anyone with a worn or tattered flag to dispose of it properly. In
cooperation with our local V.F.W. post, Brandywine Flags arranges
for retired U.S. Flags to be properly burned once a year during
a Flag Day ceremony. Help us show respect by bringing your worn
flag to us for proper disposal.
